In a one in a million chance encounter, Lori (Wells) Hale '86 met Lanie Davis, future Gustavus nursing graduate of the Class of 2028, at the fairgrounds in Pinckneyville, IL, for the April 8, 2024 Total Solar Eclipse. The Hale and Davis families happened to park next to eachother and were eclipse neighbors. Lanie will be attending Gustavus in the fall, playing tennis and majoring in Nursing! #gogusties #gustieswillshine
