Logging footage has got to be the most annoying, but necessary evil in our line of work 😫 Without it, it’s complete anarchy, and there’s no way we’re able stay organized and work efficiently throughout the season. It’s the foundation for how we’re able to flip clips so quickly to our social team and to the players. And, it’s how we’re able to execute on over a 1,000 videos a year. “𝙃𝙊𝙒 𝙈𝘼𝙉𝙔 𝘾𝙇𝙄𝙋𝙎 𝘿𝙊 𝙔𝙊𝙐 𝙎𝙃𝙊𝙊𝙏?” On average, I’d say I’m shooting anywhere between 350-400 clips for an away game trip, which includes charter, bus, arrival, pregame (sweats), pregame (pads), national anthem, game, and postgame (walk-off/locker room). And then after cutting down and logging my selects, I’ll usually land somewhere around 250-300 clips and around ~500GB of ProRes LT footage. “𝙒𝙃𝘼𝙏 𝙃𝘼𝙋𝙋𝙀𝙉𝙎 𝘼𝙁𝙏𝙀𝙍 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙂𝘼𝙈𝙀 𝙄𝙎 𝙊𝙑𝙀𝙍?” I’ll use...
