Kevin McCarthy is leaving Congress at the end of 2023, after he was ousted as speaker in October. McCarthy said that he would love to transition to the artificial intelligence or space sectors. “I view AI as a positive,” McCarthy told. “AI is where California is going to come back.” McCarthy said that the government can’t be on the sidelines when it comes to the growth of artificial intelligence and that he could provide a bridge to help Congress and the tech sector work together.
