Investment bank Morgan Stanley launched an AI chatbot powered by OpenAI’s ChatGPT technology. However, some of the wealth managers at the bank say they prefer talking to a person instead because it’s easier. Morgan Stanley is one of the biggest customers of OpenAI – the two companies announced a partnership earlier in March 2023 to organize the bank's vast knowledge base. The idea was to make it easier for wealth managers to gather information and offer their clients relevant investment advice.
