We found Acorn a loving forever home 🤍 If you saw my stories last week then you know we had a whirlwind 24hrs! We went for a walk in the park and this stray Chiweenie puppy came running right up to us. We named her Acorn because she was so tiny that we genuinely thought she was a squirrel 😂 We looked and asked around for an owner with no claims, so took her to the UrgentVet to check for a chip and make sure she was OK. She had no chip, which led us to believe that someone likely dumped her at the park 😣 She had a harness on her when she ran up to us that was chewed and worn. They told us she was 5lbs and healthy, but could tell she had worms, so we got her the first round of dewormer and checked her out for anything else. We were heartbroken when we decided we couldn't keep her, but wanted to care for her while we searched for her forever home. We knew we'd need to find her somewhere soon so she could continue treatment ASAP. We got food & toys from the store and brought her home...
