There is a saying that goes something like ‘you’re never given more than you can handle’ and I really believe that to be true. . This year has brought more heartbreak, loss, and grief than I imagined possible in an 8 month span. And while I know I’m much stronger and resilient as a result, it’s a reminder that nothing is guaranteed. Not the people in our lives, not our health, not our circumstances. Life is precious. . Next month I will be undergoing my fourth (and hopefully last🤞) breast surgery in three years. As a business owner in an industry that requires significant physical stress on my body, the idea of undergoing surgery and taking time off for recovery is terrifying. . But rather than forcing myself to stop worrying or trying to change how I feel, I’m attempting to take deep breaths and simply put one foot in front of the other.
