The IPF will soon be heading to Austin, Texas for its first World Championships of the year - the 2024 World Classic & Equipped Bench Press Championships.  Final nominations have now closed and can be viewed on goodlift.info. This event covers both classic and equipped bench press and includes all age categories, from Sub-Junior to Masters 4.   The format of the event has the masters lifting in the morning sessions, the juniors and sub-juniors lifting in the afternoon sessions and the open class forming the prime time session each evening.   The equipped part of the event begins on Tuesday 28th May and runs through to Saturday 1st June.  The prime time session on the final three days of the equipped competition will be broadcast live on CBS Sports and there also will be a highlights show covering the whole event broadcast at a later date.
