Today, our tanenbaumchat community gathered to honour Yom HaShoah ve-HaGevurah - Holocaust Remembrance Day. The focal point of today’s ceremony was resistance. Not merely armed actions like ghetto uprisings, but rather the cultural and spiritual defiance against Nazi oppression. In the face of tyranny and threat of imminent death, Jews found ways to subvert the Nazi regime and ignite hope through art, music, photography, literature, and prayer.
