May is Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage month and today we are featuring the artist Dana Tanamachi.

Dana Tanamachi is a New York City-based designer, illustrator, and hand-lettering artist who primarily works in the chalk-lettering style of illustration and typography. She has been commissioned by clients such as USPS, Starbucks, Target, Penguin Books, Instagram, and West Elm, and works in a variety of mediums ranging from murals to packaging to book design. Tanamachi is of Japanese and Mexican descent, and proudly attributes her multicultural upbringing as strong influences in her creative expression.
