Adventures in cut flower growing. It has definitely been a labor of love and I'm learning so much every day. Every morning is like Christmas where I get to go check on my little plant babies and see how they're doing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It hasn't come without heartache, though. I lost half of my anemone plants for some reason, spider mites have been invading my ranunculus, and my tulips are barely surviving a roly-poly invasion (yeah, didn't know that was a thing.) I've been trying to patiently learn the ropes of the ranch life, getting to know our soil, our climate and what's gonna be happy here in the Lost Pines of Texas. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But there is something about those slow mornings, meditating on what's to come, pouring love into those plants, learning along the way. I, too, am growing.
