Hoping you’ll read until the end 😞🙏— The beauty of Scotland can only be surpassed by the kindness of its people. And for 2 magical weeks we met the most wonderful humans we’ll never forget ♥️. • When asked—where did you stay? We smile because our home-stays may have been our fav part. For the majority, we stayed with locals (via Airbnb). We were greeted like old friends and often invited to gather round a dining table to hear stories & tips for the coming day 🗺. Smiles overflowing, even if we couldn’t always grasp the fast accent 😆. • We’ve never met such warm and welcoming people—although New Zealanders are sure up there 💚. • And we hate to admit that returning to the U.S. has felt like falling from a happy cloud 😞. Like many, we feel sad, angry, and helpless.
