While it’s fairly small and not traditionally jaw dropping—it’s epic history and unique terrain really surprised us! • Here’s 5 reasons to add this #Arizona gem to your list📝🪣 . • 🐶 It’s pet friendly—dogs, cats… and horses! We want to return with our pup, Maxx! • ♿️ The park is incredibly accessible, with short paved trails and beautiful (drive up) lookouts. • 🚗 Located 3.5 hours from Phoenix—AND a perfect stop on the way to Monument Valley! 🏜 • 🥾 Paved trails are fairly short—you can also overnight backpack into the park (with permit). This is on our bucket list!! • 🦖 History comes to life—the area dates back to the ‘Dawn of the Dinosaurs’, (200 MILLION yrs old 😯), and you’ll see tons of colorful Petrified wood up close and personal.
