It’s magical ✨ —wouldn’t you agree? • We learned a ton about visiting #MonumentValley yesterday. While it’s not easy, it’s so worth it! Here’s what you need to know: • 📍As of Dec. 2021 the Navajo Nation has re-opened the park, but only 25 vehicles per hour can enter the self-drive 17-mile loop. • 📍 Enter the park between 8am - 2:30pm. ARRIVE EARLY—by 8:30am it would have been a 2hr wait to drive the park. (Granted this is a holiday week!) • 📍 To beat the crowds you can also pre-book a Navajo guided tour. Based on reviews we selected monumentvalleytribaltours, and it was absolutely epic. You’ll be in an off-road 🚐 that takes you into the vast backcountry 🤩. TIP—book on their website instead of TripAdvisor to save $5! In winter, it cost us $85/person for 3.5 hr tour + $20 group park entry. Worth the splurge?
