If you asked what’s been my fav adventure, I might say this.. 🙋🏻‍♀️📚 • ✈️ Six years ago we crammed our bikes into 2 giant boxes and flew them halfway up California (Bags, and boxes, fly free on southwestair!). • 🚐 My Dad, Papa Squirrel, pulled up in a rented minivan and drove us to the north east tip of Cali. In Eureka we ditched the van, painstakingly pieced back our bikes, and started the long and winding trek south. • 🚴 For 400+ miles we cycled below the shadow of giants🌲and wound down never ending ocean roads. • Some days we road 30-40 miles between sleepy charming towns—saying over and over, “THIS is California??” • And by day 7 we rolled by grapevines as far as the eye could see 🍇 and ended our journey in Napa Valley..for the best wine tasting of our life🍷. • 🐌 We always talk about riding through the #AvenueoftheGiants slowwllllyyy.
