We’ve road tripped past this lake multiple times on our way to #Sedona & Grand Canyon 🚗, and this weekend we finally stopped to explore #WatsonLake! Save for your next AZ adventure~ • 📍1.5 hours from Phoenix & 1.5 hours further to Sedona, it’s a perfect road trip stop! • 🏊‍♀️ Swimming’s not permitted, but you can kayak, fish, ride bikes, and SUP (stand up paddle-board)! • 🥾 Check out ‘Watson Lake Loop’ for an EPIC 6 mile hike! There’s a great, mostly flat, bike & walking trail that parallels the challenging hike …perf for fams! • 🚗 ROAD SIDE STOP: If we only had 2 hrs to experience Watson Lake, we’d kayak! It’s an epic experience to wind through the rock formations 🤩. • 🛶 Check out @borntobewildadventures for rentals.
