True Story 📚 — When I was 13 my Dad wanted to road trip to Yosemite for Father’s Day 🚙. I hated the idea—I’d broken my ankle weeks prior and could barely shower, let alone adventure 🤦🏻‍♀️. • But my Dad insisted and upon arriving to the National Park he hoisted me onto his back and climbed the 2 miles straight up #VernalFalls! 🥾 • I remember the faces of onlookers as we climbed 😮… my bright purple cast sticking straight out as I clung to his back 🙇🏻‍♀️. And when we reached the top I felt the rush of the falls and the mist hit my face. And that view of Yosemite🤩… it’s impossible to describe. Have you experienced?? • While I didn’t appreciate it then 🤦🏻‍♀️, I know moments like that, and spending time together in nature made me LATER love the great outdoors.
