Tips for visiting #JoshuaTree over the holidays🎄. (Save for future adventures!) Fall and Winter are surely the best times to visit this park, but it can get SO crowded. Here’s a few tips we gathered from this Thanksgiving weekend— • ⛺️ Campsites at JT are booked solid, so we camped in BLM land nearby the park for free (Use the ioverlander app to locate dispersed campsites)! • 🌅 Visit the popular destinations, like #chollacactus Garden first thing! From ~6am-10am we had the ‘famous’ spots seemingly to ourselves. • 🗺 When the crowds arrive (and they will!) discover your own hidden gems.. aka, search the least rated trails on alltrails, climb giant boulders 🧗 or go in search of the 300 abandoned gold mines 🤩. • Have you been to Joshua Tree National Park? 🌵 • PS!
