Let’s #optouside! 👣 • Remembering our 1st #squirrelmusthike event, when we hit the trails at 6am to beat the heat! We attempted to beat the crowds but even at sunrise #CowelsMountain, the highest peak in San Diego, was super crowded. • ~~~~ ~~~~ ⚠️TRAVEL TIP: After reaching the top of Cowel’s we recommend taking a 1.5 mile detour down a trail less traveled, to reach #pylespeak. San Diego’s popular #5peakchallenge was actually created to bring awareness to other great hikes in the area, and lessen the crowds at Cowel’s.
