Hi, my name is Trevor Coenen and I am a senior on the men’s track & field team (mke_tfxc). I am from Hortonville, WI and come from a tight-knit family which made the transition to life in the city an interesting challenge as a freshman. Adjusting to living on my own and shaping my life around classes, practices, and lifting sessions was stressful, but ultimately rewarding. Without these stresses, I would not be fully immersed in the college experience. My events for track & field are the indoor heptathlon and the outdoor decathlon, so I am considered a multi. I’m in mke_saac and President of Horizon League SAAC through which I have met many incredible people and learned valuable skills that I will to use to excel in my career. Thanks to UWM, I have become a better student, athlete, and leader.
