‪Hi, I’m Alyssa Moore, but my teammates call me the Little General. I am a junior on the Women’s Basketball team and I’m from Chicago, IL. I’m studying Community Engagement and Education and will minor in Recreational Therapy. ‬ Basketball has always been a part of my life.‪ Being the only girl in a house with three brothers, I picked up my passion from them. I’m thankful for my family’s presence in my life. My mother has financially provided for me and my brother put a hold on his own basketball career to help coach me. When my stepdad came into my life in fifth grade, he became my coach. He has pushed me to be the best basketball player I can be. My family has been a huge part of my success and the reason why I am the person I am today; without them recovering from two torn ACLs would have been impossible.
