‪Hi, my name is Benjamin Krolczyk and I am a senior on the men’s soccer team at UWM. When I came to Milwaukee, I was still trying to figure out who I was as an individual. Becoming a student athlete meant I would have to sacrifice my time for lifting, class, and practice. I love being with family and friends, and I have always made time for them. Having their support on and off the field and in the classroom has encouraged me to keep pursuing soccer. I have never loved the game more than I have the last three years at Milwaukee. The transition from high school to Division I was difficult. Playing soccer and studying engineering at the same time is even more challenging, but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. As I go into my last year as a student athlete, I am beginning to know myself better. I am a team player and I lead by example. I give everything I have in every situation.
