I bought and studied brain anatomy books, witnessed my mother’s c-section, and even became a participant of MSU’s premed group known as the Health Careers Program (HCP). Honestly, Montclair State was not my first choice. I wanted to study neuroscience at Hofstra. God had other plans that I now appreciate and am so incredibly grateful for. I consider myself an ambitious person and one who dreams big and bright. I believe that your dreams can come true if you put in the time, hard work, and constant effort. It’s a no-brainer. All the late nights practicing organic chemistry drawing problems, or skipping a family day to stay home and finish up homework WILL be worth it all.
