Fun facts about this guy for #PigeonWeek: 🪶Doves, like the Luzon Bleeding-heart are cousins to the city pigeon. 🪶These sweet birds get their name from the unique plumage that resembles a bleeding heart – very poetic! 🪶The National Aviary proudly welcomed a Luzon Bleeding-heart chick in February of 2024.
