As parents, we’re the best defense for our teens and that includes feeling empowered to advocate for their health and ask the right questions at their doctor’s appointments!   That’s why I’m proud to partner with GSK to help increase awareness around #meningitisB — an uncommon, but potentially serious illness that can be fatal. Working alongside other families and GSK on their #Ask2BSure campaign has opened my eyes to the lack of meningitis awareness.    Earlier this month, I joined GSK at the YMCA of Spartanburg with pediatrician Dr. Aprel Barnes and mother and meningitis advocate Allison, who lost her son Keegan in 2020 to meningitis B, and talked about meningitis B and how it can affect teens and young adults.
