I came across this charming room by late designer Letitia Gates in the pages of Summer Cottages and Castles: Scenes from the Good Life, by Patricia Corbin and published in 1983. . I love how this space is both over the top and completely understated, using an inexpensive sheeting fabric on the curtains, ceiling and table.
