In keeping with my animal attraction I’m going gaga for the living room of Susan Stein Shiva in New York’s storied Dakota, as captured by Horst in 1972. From the large scale quilted floral chintz, soaring ceiling height, mantle with cubbies for travel trinkets and zebra hide rugs, I can’t possibly pick my favorite feature.
