Last month, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation ambassador Frankie Knowles passed away from the side effects of the invasive proton radiation used to treat pilomyxoid astrocytoma, a type brain tumor. We will remember him as a fighter who took each day in stride and continues to inspire us with his determination.
