Before National Coaches Week ends I wanted to give a big shoutout to two great coaches that I've had the opportunity of working with! 1. Chad Henderson 3 years ago, a "grumpy little man" came walking through the tunnel when I was working with the Langley Rams and yelled out "who is in charge here" Reluctantly, I put up my hand and said I was. He said "what do you do" and I told him I was the team doctor for the Langley Rams. He said "what would it take for you to come work for me" I said "excuse me? Who are you?" Chad told me he was the coach of the North Langley Kodiaks and that he knew nothing about taping ankles or injuries. He wanted someone who knew what they were doing to take care of that stuff so he could just "coach" Reluctantly I agreed (not knowing what I was getting into). 3 years later, we won 3 provincal championships!
