I never had anyone growing up that was like me. I was always the weird kid without legs, and I resented myself for that. As I’ve gotten older I have learned to appreciate the little things that I often took for granted. Through that I found that the things that make us different, become our biggest strengths. Tools to impact each other and raise others up. I would never change what happened to me as a kid because it’s what shaped my life, my beliefs, and aspirations.
