The “overhead food shots” are the truffle of the photographers...📷 Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of overhead food shot all over Instagram (the shots where you hold your camera horizontally over the table) , and I gotta say, although the make pretty images, I just don’t think that’s the best angle to highlight food, I shoot to showcase my clients food, to make you mouth watery, to show the texture of a sauce or that glaze on a 12 hour slow roasted pork, not to show how pretty the plate is. So as I was saying, truffle is awesome,right? Just not for every single dish.
