Yesterday was one of the worst days of my entire life. Some might say it’s just a dog but I lost my best friend and feel the most indescribable sense of loss. The last few months have been challenging trying to fight the osteosarcoma, even making the difficult decision to amputate her leg and begin chemotherapy. I did everything humanly possible but in the end, fate had something different in store and she lost function of her hind legs. I’m grateful for every second of our 10 years together and will miss her forever. I love you Lucy and I’m so sorry.
