As we embark on the second decade of Electric Forest, it is important to commemorate the significance of our first chapter together. šŸ’š #ForestFamily 10 in The Forest Family members have returned to Sherwood every year since 2011, and HQ celebrates this fantastic journey with a dedicated grove of ten native Michigan trees will be planted along the East side of the Observatory inside The Forest. This grove will be tended and brought to maturity by a year-round team of arborists to ensure its healthy growth and establishment. Additionally, those who reach 10 in The Forest status will now have their names engraved onto a piece of Forest history and forever enshrined in to The Clocktower, a piece by artist Don Sanjurgos that was erected in 2012 as the first centerpiece within Sherwood Forest. Going forward, this piece will live on Wally Wojack Way, the main passage through The Forest which bears the name of the man who planted Sherwood nearly 70 years ago.
