One more time, one last ride. Crazy to think it’s my last undergrad semester, and with varsity esports. When I first visited at freshman orientation, I remember them first announcing esports coming to UTD. I was (probably) the most excited student in that auditorium. Having grown up loving gaming, I never thought of the day I’d be a part of my college’s esports team. Flash forward 4-5 years, I joined and got to lead the entire program that now features Overwatch, League of Legends, Rocket League, Smash Bros, and VALORANT. I got to be there for so many of our milestones, sharing that with all of our hardworking players and staff. From winning ut_dallas’ first national championship title for athletics to traveling across the country: Boston, Atlanta, California, Illinois, Kansas City, and so many more.
