Congratulations to the Class of 2024! Family, friends, faculty, and staff filled the Beck Student Activities Center today to cheer for the 139 graduates and to encourage them on the next steps of their journeys. The Commencement Address was delivered by Betsy Klein ’08, Senior White House Producer at CNN, who returned to Charlotte Latin and shared stories of her tenure as a Hawk. “The real secret of adulthood is that we’re all just making it up as we go,” she confided. Her speech laid out the parallels between launching a presidential campaign and preparing oneself for graduation. “In this whirlwind of new experiences, let your core values ground you – respect for yourself and others, moral courage, honor above all.” She told the audience that she’s trying every day to live a life in alignment with the values that she learned at Charlotte Latin.
