PALMDALE 9-11-21: Per lasdhq Homicide: “Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Detectives responded to investigate a deputy-involved shooting. The incident was reported Saturday, September 11, 2021, at approximately 7:47 P.M. on the 200 block of East Ave. R., in the city of Palmdale. Saturday afternoon, at approximately 1:30 P.M., a strong-armed robbery occurred in the city of Lancaster. At approximately 7:00 P.M., deputies observed the suspect driving a white SUV. Deputies pursued the suspect to the city of Palmdale where the pursuit was terminated due to safety concerns for the public. Deputies located the suspect again a short time later.
