CASTAIC 9-11-21: The #RouteFire broke out just north of Templin Hwy and Castaic yesterday afternoon. What started as a small brush fire on the side of the SB 5 freeway quickly spread to almost 400 acres, driven by hot temperatures and good wind. Firefighters took an aggressive attack day and night to try to contain the fire.
