12-22-20 CANYON COUNTRY: A brush fire erupted along a hillside off of Heron Lane in Canyon Country. lacountyfd worked alongside lacofireairops to stop the fire at approx 5.6 acres. While working, camp crews heard a man yelling from down an embankment. Firefighters helped him get topside, where he ran away. He was detained by firefighters until scvsheriff arrested the man. The man eventually admitted to starting the fires. He also had a pair of car keys on him, which unlocked a car parked on a nearby street.
