CANYON COUNTRY 12-8-20: A brush fire erupted behind houses on Colina Dr and Aurora Lane last night forcing immediate evacuations. The fire grew to only approximately 6 acres thanks to a quick response by lacountyfd and lacofireairops. scvsheriff helped with evacuations, being sure residents were able to have as much time as possible to pack and leave. The fires forward progress was stopped approximately an hour after the fire began.
