STEVENSON RANCH 11-8-20: According to CHP, “Newhall Area Units were advised of a traffic collision, with ambulance rolling, on Poe Parkway, at Verne Court, involving a vehicle into a pole. Units arrived to discover a 2018 Ford Fiesta, grey in color into a stand of trees, down the western embankment of Poe Parkway, just south of Verne Ct. Upon initial inspection, it appeared the vehicle, determined to be traveling southbound on Poe Parkway had left the roadway, striking a light pole and another signpost before eventually striking and coming to rest intertwined with the stand of trees resulting in fatal injuries to the only found occupant. The incident is still under investigation and it should be noted, due to the vehicle damage, it has not been determined if any other victims were in the vehicle.
