July 5, 2020 SCV Soledad Fire: At 3:27pm a third alarm brush fire broke out just east of Santa Clarita. The incident, named the Soledad Fire, burned over 1000 acres and jumped the 14 freeway multiple times. Multiple structures were threatened. The 14 freeway was closed most of the evening, causing large backups on multiple side streets.
