"This PEO opportunity was extremely beneficial to me — it opened a door that I otherwise wouldn’t have had a way of opening. It helped to turn my dream into a reality!" Andie Malloy is a UNL alumna and former Husker volleyball player. After finishing her Masters of Applied Science and time with the volleyball team, Malloy was granted a Post Eligibility Opportunity scholarship. The PEO program assists former athletes in gaining the career experiences they didn't have the chance to attain while participating in collegiate athletics. Malloy used her PEO to complete a yoga internship in Bali and said that opportunity helped her to discover her new career goals of opening a yoga studio, while still being involved with volleyball in some capacity.
