Meet this week’s #FeatureFriday Elijah Spencer!⚪️🔴⁠ Elijah will be a junior this fall, majoring in Finance and currently interning at InvestNebraska. They worked with him to convert his internship to virtual for the rest of the academic year and are continuing to allow him to work virtually through the summer. ⁠ ⁠ Elijah says” My favorite experience within my internship so far has been learning about all of the different businesses and industries in Nebraska. I have gotten to read about and talk with many people in many different industries, as well as different financial and investment companies within Nebraska.”⁠ ⁠ Elijah recommends using your network and keeping in touch with people in industries that you are interested in. He has found it extremely useful to keep in touch with these people and sometimes updating them when new opportunities arise. ⁠ ⁠ After Elijah graduates, he hopes to get a job in the investment field.
