Meet this week’s #FeatureFriday Jack Ellis!⚪️🔴⁠ Jack is majoring in Political Science and History, with a minor in National Security Studies. Jack is currently working as a research assistant for the National War College this summer. As a part of his role, he will be assisting the military and civilian faulty with the National Security Strategy course curriculum and helping out with a variety of research projects. ⁠ ⁠ Jack recommends students who are struggling to find work to:⁠ 1) Cast a wide net and expand your options beyond what you would typically apply for ⁠ 2) Stay on a routine when you’re unemployed to keep your groove ⁠ 3) Keep your head up, have confidence in yourself, and understand life will get easier. ⁠ ⁠ Jack hopes to attend graduate school in the UK and study War Studies and Strategic Studies. He hopes this will give him a launchpad into government work where he aims to work on the National Security Council staff and focus on climate security and human security policy....
