Meet Emily! She joined the Career Service team because she worked as a peer advisor in Career Services as an undergrad and loved it! After graduating and working in human resources for a time, she was happy to return to campus and Career Services again. Emily said, “College students are the perfect mix of young and mature. They have demands on them and their own goals but aren’t always serious and still know how to have fun and be in the moment.” Something important she’s learned is that you should look for a job when you are looking for a job and when you are not looking for a job, aka, always be networking. During and after college Emily had over 20 roommates! Now that’s a lot! One thing Emily loves about her job is the Peer Career Guide Team meetings.
