They say a picture paints a thousand words… Well here’s three of them - The same person, during the same journey, but two very different moments inside that journey, and then my why…. I’ve been through some amazing moments in my career - feeling on top of the world, always feeling that I belonged and was “needed” I felt like I knew my purpose and it was reinforced when we would win tournaments and reap the rewards, the trophies, the gold medals, the praise, the feeling of success after all the hard work we put in etc it was a high like no other. Then for the first time in my career I experienced the other side to it, the loneliness, feeling lost - what was my purpose? Not feeling “needed” anymore. The unknown, wondering what was all the hard work for? It was a low like no other. But. through the highs and lows my one consistent thing that never changed was them!
