Slice the pound cake through the middle horizontally, then add a layer of preserves in between. 2. Slice the loaf into small cubes, then place onto a wire rack on top of a baking tray to catch the excess drips. 3. Melt the frosting in the microwave or 20 second bursts, then add a drop of food coloring to each can, mixing until well combined. 4. Pour the frosting over the cubes of cake until fully covered, then place into the fridge to set.
