Me at the top of the climb: “I am deceased. There’s 10 miles to go?!” Me 30sec after the finish: “wow, so fun! Can’t wait for the next one!” Glad I didn’t retire after the last race, because this one was so much more fun. Partly because taylor.ostrander was there to distract me from the nerves and laugh at my bad jokes (also she crushed her race!) I’m enjoying seeing progress, but also noticing more and more areas in which I can improve. It’s exciting to have so much to work toward.
