This #PrideMonth, we're asking the Senate to pass the #EqualityAct to guarantee LGBTQIA+ people have comprehensive, nationwide protections against discrimination. Because freedom is for every body, every where. And your protection against discrimination shouldn't depend on what state you're living in. Right now, nondiscrimination laws are pretty patchwork across the country. This leaves millions of people open to discrimination in key areas of life like education, housing, credit, public spaces and services, healthcare, and jury service. But we can fix that and ensure every body's fundamental freedoms are protected if we get this critical piece of legislation enacted into law.
