A few weeks ago, we appealed for public assistance when a 77-year-old Veteran lost his medals during this year's ANZAC Day march. It was between the Shrine of Remembrance and Flinders St Station when Mr. Atkinson noticed they were missing, and shortly lodged a lost property report.⁣ ⁣ It comes with great news and relief for the Vietnam Veteran and his family, that the medals were found – handed in by a good Samaritan on the day of the march to Senior Constable Johnson who with initiative, tracked down the owner of the medals through the Return Services League. ⁣ ⁣ The medals were collected by Mr. Atkinson and his family at Avondale Heights Police Station just last week.⁣ ⁣ Well done to all those involved.⁣ ⁣ #ANZAC #Veterans #VictoriaPolice
