First year SOMD clarinet DMA student, Bruce Luo, turned in a terrific performance of Bela Kovacs’s “Hommage a R. Strauss” for Clarinet Solo. Luo spent his first term studying from his home in Taiwan due to COVID-19. He did his master's studies at UT-Austin, and he has won numerous competitions around the country and abroad.
